Description: The product is approved by China Classification Society (CCS), the quality standard is in line with GB/T4950-2002 standard, and the chemical composition of zinc anode is in line with US MIL-A-18001H and ASTM-B418(Type 1) standard. The anodes used for pipelines also comply with SY/T0019-97 "Design Code for cathodic Protection of sacrificial anodes for Buried Steel Pipelines".

Using 0# distilled zinc ingot, zinc ingot content ≥99.995%. Raw materials strictly comply with the standard GB/470-2008.

Transportation and storage:
It is prohibited to use packaging and transportation with acid, alkali, salt and other corrosive zinc, and should be stored in dry, ventilated, non-corrosive materials in the warehouse, strictly prevent rain wet.
What is a zinc anode?
Zinc anode is a commonly used anticorrosive material, which is made of pure zinc. The zinc anode corrodes itself through an electrical discharge reaction to protect the protected metal from corrosion.
In the anti-corrosion process, the zinc anode is attached to the metal surface that needs to be protected, and when there is any bare part of the metal surface, the zinc anode will be preferentially corroded, thereby protecting the metal surface from corrosion. This is because zinc has a lower potential than the metal, so it becomes the cathode in the battery, and the metal becomes the anode, and the current flows from the zinc anode to the metal, triggering an electrochemical reaction.
Zinc anodes are generally used for corrosion protection, including ships, oil and gas pipelines, Bridges, buildings, and other metal structures. It has the characteristics of strong corrosion resistance, easy processing and maintenance. In the process of use, with the loss of zinc anode, it is necessary to replace or supplement new zinc anode regularly to maintain the anti-corrosion effect.
